Ceramic Sculpture

This shadow celadon gilded figure ceramic sculpture takes the shape of a seated man deep in contemplation. It is fully covered with pale shadow celadon white glaze, with blue-green landscape painted beside the figure. Gilded dots adorn the whole figure and its base, making it a modern light-luxury decorative ceramic artwork themed on landscape and figures.

Material: Integrally sculpted from Jingdezhen kaolin, the sculpture is coated with shadow celadon glaze on the surface, decorated with blue-green overglaze polychrome pigments and genuine gold liquid. The ceramic body is smooth and glossy.

Craftsmanship: The clay body is sculpted into a full human figure in three dimensions, then fired at high temperature to form a shadow celadon ceramic blank. Overglaze polychrome is applied to paint landscapes, followed by hand dot gilding and low-temperature gold baking to lock the color. Multiple layers of glaze are fired in separate sessions.
