Ning Gang holds a Doctor of Literature from Wuhan University of Technology and an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from Wonkwang University, South Korea. He was a deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, and formerly served as President and Deputy Party Secretary of Jingdezhen Ceramic University. He is an expert in Design Science on the China National Advisory Committee for Postgraduate Education, a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, a Master of Chinese Ceramic Art, and a judge for the selection of Masters of Chinese Arts and Crafts.
Honors & Achievements
Ning Gang ’s works have been collected by world-renowned institutions including the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, the Benaki Museum of Asian Art in Greece and the Fortress of Louisbourg Museum in Canada. He has held solo and group exhibitions at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Grand Palais in Paris, the Museum of Asian Art in Corfu (Greece), the Cambridge Museum and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Gordon Johnson, Member of the New Jersey General Assembly and Deputy Speaker of New Jersey, USA, presented Professor Gang Ning with the Global Award for Contributions to Art and Cultural Exchange.
Major works
His work, Xianghe, has been permanently collected by Buckingham Palace, and he was received in person by Queen Elizabeth II.

Another piece, Suisui Xianghe, was presented by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to Li Ka-shing on his 85th birthday.

In 2014, his work, Suisui Hehe, was gifted to Karolos Papoulias, President of Greece. The professor was warmly received by the Greek President and took a group photo together.
