More Details:

The imagery of blooming flowers evokes youthful dreams, earthly bustle, vivid memories, and the allure of lavish pleasures… As the poem goes: “Spring sickness and spring sorrow, why do they return year after year? Half for the beloved by the pillow, half for the wine among the flowers.”
In ancient times, there was an elegant and delicate decorative vase named “Beauty’s Shoulder” after The Twelve Beauties. Slender and fragile, this four-to-five-inch vase was extremely difficult to fire, truly embodying the concept of “beauty without utility”.

Following ancient aesthetic ideals, we overcome the immense technical hurdle behind the old craftsmen’s maxim: “Better craft ten round wares than a single square one.” We flatten and square the vessel to accentuate its graceful shoulder, paired with carved undulating floral motifs finished in vermilion red glaze.
