All pure silver tableware will tarnish. Humidity and temperature in the air will affect the rate of silver tarnishing.
Tarnish also carries its unique beauty. If you prefer a bright finish, you may polish the cup with the complimentary silver polishing cloth included, or buff it shiny with household scouring pads.
