Introduction
Jingdezhen Ceramic Plaque
This square state-gift porcelain plaque features a vivid Chinese scarlet base. Its surface is decorated with flocks of red-crowned cranes, golden rice ears and bright yellow lotus blossoms, while the bottom is covered with mottled teal-brown kiln-transformation textures. It boasts a full, grand composition that delivers a festive and solemn visual impact.
Crafted from high-temperature square porcelain blanks produced in Jingdezhen, the plaque is fired with scarlet glaze under high heat to form its crimson background. Fine patterns of immortal cranes, lotus flowers and rice ears are hand-painted with overglaze new colors, matched with kiln-transformation textures on the base. Repeated multi-stage kiln firings complete this decorative state ceremonial porcelain piece.
Red-crowned cranes symbolize longevity and sound health; rice ears embody bumper harvests of all grains; lotus flowers stand for harmony and perfect bliss. The crimson base highlights the prosperity of a flourishing age. As state ceremonial porcelain, it carries sincere auspicious wishes for national peace, stable livelihoods, and the dual blessings of fortune and longevity.
