Introduction

This wide-mouth, round-bell state-gift porcelain cup is fully coated in Chinese scarlet glaze. The upper body is adorned with embossed gilded floral square panels, while the lower section features hand-painted yellow lotus and reeds. The mug base transitions into mottled kiln-transformation glaze, lending the piece a mellow, noble charm.
Crafted from high-temperature Jingdezhen ceramic bodies fired with a scarlet glaze base, this mug integrates embossed gilding, overglaze new-color hand-painted lotus blossoms and base kiln-transformation textures. It is completed through separate kiln firings for multiple layered craft procedures.

Gilded patterns symbolize wealth, nobility and smooth fortune; lotus flowers embody purity and auspiciousness. The scarlet glaze base sets off prosperity, warmth and well-being. As state ceremonial porcelain, it bears wonderful blessings for safety, affluence, elegance and harmonious living.
