Profile

Li Xuanyan earned her Doctorate in Visual Art and Design from Burapha University. She has long been engaged in ceramic art creation and teaching. Her works have been selected for and won awards in numerous national and provincial exhibitions, including major events such as the National Ceramic Art Design Innovation Competition, the “CHINA·中国” Ceramic Art Design Exhibition and the China Ceramic Art Exhibition.

Honors & Achievements

In June 2023, Li Xuanyan held a solo art exhibition at Jingdezhen Ceramic University. She also took part in exhibitions and international academic seminars funded by the National Art Fund. Her artistic practice spans creation, teaching and international exchanges. Her representative works include Hydrangea Sea·Seven-Piece Stationery Set, Qing·Yayun and Qinglu Baijiao.

Major works

In 2017, her work Qing·Yayun won the Silver Award at the 2nd “CHINA·China” Jingdezhen Porcelain Design Competition themed on Song Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain.

In 2018, Hydrangea Sea·Seven-Piece Stationery Set received the Silver Award at the 3rd “CHINA
·中国” Innovative Design Competition for Blue and Colored Porcelain.

Also in 2018, her work Qinglu Baijiao was awarded the Bronze Award at the 11th China Ceramic Art Exhibition.
