Located in Changhua Garden of Guangzhou’s Xiguan district, amid the former villas of Xiguan merchants, sits House 84 Xiguan Cottage. It devotes itself to sourcing and collecting authentic vintage glass. Crafted with meticulous ancient techniques and premium raw materials, vintage glass boasts superior transparency and elegant nobility—mass production of such glass is no longer feasible today. The studio also creates brand-new art pieces from these antique glass materials.

When we laid eyes on one of their miniature table lamps, memories from the development phase of our Begonia Cups flooded back at once. This Begonia Glass Mini Table Lamp truly “kindles memories” in every sense of the phrase.

By a lovely coincidence, the lamp echoes the core imagery we envisioned for the Begonia Cup line: “light filtering through crabapple-patterned glass”. Our Begonia Cups feature moon-shaped handles as a lunar symbol, while House 84 Xiguan Cottage has brought the very essence of that “light” to life.

Now we pair these two complementary trinkets—the Begonia Cup and the mini table lamp—within a single gift box. Together, they unfold our intimate, unspoken sentiments and private nostalgic longing, rooted in the historical legacy of Guangzhou’s Thirteen Hongs.
