Introduction

This square porcelain plaque of Thousand-Hand Guanyin takes mottled tawny kiln transformation glaze as its base. A three-dimensional embossed Thousand-Hand Guanyin sits solemnly on a gilded lotus pedestal, surrounded by pink-petaled lotus flowers. The whole composition carries solemn grandeur and profound Zen charm.
Crafted on a high-temperature square porcelain blank with natural kiln-flame variegated base tones, the work adopts 3D embossed gilding to sculpt the Guanyin statue and lotus throne, complemented by overglaze new-color hand-painted lotus blooms and stems. It is completed through multiple firing sessions integrating diverse crafts.

Thousand-Hand Guanyin symbolizes sheltering all living beings, dispelling misfortunes and welcoming blessings; lotus flowers represent purity and peace. Ideal for hanging in Buddha halls, tea rooms and private clubs, it bears prayers for smooth fortune in all undertakings and safety for the whole family.
